I'm so glad you still named the creature, recognized it as a "rabbit," which says something profound about humans in similar wrecked states, which made me read the whole poem again. Gorgeous!!!

I also love winter...I love being a homebody on a cold day! But if it drags on, I can begin to feel down from isolation and dark days. It's a good thing I live in Texas now! Our winters are very brief !
